Anti-Trans Now Wants to Run the United Nations



The part of the world is obsessed against trans people cannot keep their views to themselves. They feel the need to put their views into law and even into the United Nations. 

A group in the United Nations wants to list crimes against humanity. This would allow international knowledge of countries which practice horrific acts against minorities. To do this, the practices hate groups use and the populations they target need to be named. There is support to name trans people as a group targeted by hate groups. The hate groups, of course, do not want this, they want to target trans people.

The link reports over 100K signatures have been gathered opposing naming trans as a targeted group. Those opposed want the freedom to demonize those they dislike. After all, the hate groups say, God created only two genders and did allow switching.

Every informed person knows there have been people not identified as either male or female. Ancient writing referred to such people. Those in the U.N. wanting to push back against discrimination directed toward trans people are those the U.S. should support.

There were lofty goals set out for the United Nations. If ever there was a world-wide organization which was, and remains, deeply committed to lofty idealism it is that one.

What a travesty it would be if groups in the U.S. with goals directly opposite those of the U.N. came to dominate that organization.

Talarico Looks Like an Obama II

We all have our ideas about what is good or smart politics. I'm no different. Those who read this blog have to hear mine. My thinking is millions of voters will go to the polls in the next two elections for the specific purpose of voting against Trump. Most of these voters, however, will not admit that is why or how they are voting. They will have convinced themselves they are voting for some reason more idealistic and loftier. An example of what they might say to themselves is, "I'm voting for a better country." The job of Democrats, Libertarians, Socialists and whomever is to give those voters something that ends the sentence, "I'm voting for someone other than a Republican because..."  The sentence will not end in "...I hate Trump." It will be something else. Time to Forget the Christian Nation Thing

While women are forbidden from being priests/preachers in some branches of Christianity thank goodness they are not forbidden from writing and lecturing about Christianity. A great article about the "Christian nation" notion shows us the U.S. is not a Christian nation and hopefully never will be.
