Christian Worry: Aliens Will be Liberals and Atheists



An article on a Christian site tells us many Christians are worried those aboard Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO) are liberals and/or atheists.  There is an assurance provided Christians we don't know who is operating the UFO's so until we learn this there is nothing to worry about. My guess is the worry continues. The issue is so important there was a followup.

Neither of the links helps us understand what the correct Christian response is. We can only speculate. Is it to have a fresh stack of Trump Bibles ready to hand to the aliens as the exit their space craft?

Or, perhaps it is to usher the space creatures to their assigned seats where Franklin Graham can preach a sermon against sin. Meeting are going on as we speak discussing what to do after the aliens land.

Another possible twist might happen. A space craft from the heavens might be Jesus returning. Thus, it must be treated with appropriate respect. Some will deny that any of the green people who exist the spacecraft is Jesus because Jesus was white. 

The Christians quoted seem certain of the aliens' religious and political views, they will be atheist liberals. That's fun to contemplate.

Time to Forget the Christian Nation Thing

While women are forbidden from being priests/preachers in some branches of Christianity thank goodness they are not forbidden from writing and lecturing about Christianity. A great article about the "Christian nation" notion shows us the U.S. is not a Christian nation and hopefully never will be. Will We Ever Know How Accurate Current Bibles Are

When I discuss the many times the Bible was copied and recopied by scribes over a couple of thousand years, the reply is often, "I have a book by this (or that) expert who says the Bible is 99% accurate to its original writers." The 99% claim appears in various places defending the Bible. There is one thing we know absolutely: There is no surviving original copy of the Bible. Even the oldest surviving material is a generation or two after the time some of the Bible was written. This means no one can claim he has, or ever will, compare the current Bible to the original Bible and find the two are 99% the same. We cannot claim either that it is not 99% accurate. For the sake of discussion, however, assume the current Bible is 99% accurate. That would mean the one word out of every 100 was inaccurate.
