The Five Most Sinful Cities in the U.S.
Lots of cities would like to make this list. A Christian group actually compiled it. Los Vegas has competitors.
I could not discern for sure what was used to measure the amount of sin. The deciders made it difficult to follow by including sins other than the BIG TWO, abortion and gay/trans. When we start including even a handful of the many other sins listed in the Bible the amount of sin goes through the roof.
The most sinful cities in the U.S. are Las Vegas, Los Angles, Philadelphia, Houston and Atlanta. How could cities right smack in the middle of the Bible Belt, Atlanta and Houston, not be swept clean of sin. I'm sure Philadelphia made the list by being the "City of Brotherly Love." That translates directly into "Gay City."
We'd have to conclude all five of these cities have a long history of success. Perhaps the sin industry has been good for them.
It's hard for me to understand the system of determining the level of sin. How, for example, did Providence, RI, get left out. It is not huge like the sinful five. Maybe being a little smaller kept the volume of sin down and it slipped under the radar. But, it has the least church going population and highest disinterest in religion in the U. S. according to some polling. Even though it is quite sinful it needs to up its game to make the list.
