Trans Made it to the Sin Leader Board


There is discussion about what Trump will do with the thousands of trans in the military. Will he fire them all? Someone speaking for the Trump Administration says no decision has been made to do this. It may well be the Trump people know trans will remain on the Sin Leader Board for a while and then will disappear. Why spend time, they may be thinking, on some issue that will evaporate? A new sin will replace trans.

A well-known Republican who is active in politics the former outstanding athlete, Cris Jenner, is now a female, Caitlyn Jenner. Caitlyn had her own reality TV show and quite wealthy. She ran for the nomination of Republican for Governor a few years ago and now appears to be preparing to do so again. Christian news sites do not carry articles about how sinful this trans Republican is. As a Republican, she does not fall under the Sin Leader Board. One parody site said her birth certificate which declares "male" was incorrect and part of the fraud Democrats are always guilty of.

To expel thousands of military personnel as some conservatives advocate would decimate the ranks. These people are needed for the defense of the U.S. The process for removal of military people is a long process and very costly. I'm guessing this will be talked about periodically but never done.

In the Western world, trans is considered unusual and for this reason alone it is condemned. Religion is used for the condemnation and this, in turn, put trans on the Sin Leader Board. 

The Trump success has made so many groups frightened. That includes, of course, all kinds of people who were born in other countries. One can assume right wing Christians will bring up Hindus, Muslims and Atheists as persons of suspicion. Add to that trans and gay people and we have may frightened people.

Who Suffers from a "Hardened Heart"

Some years ago on this blog there was a discussion about what the Bible calls "The hardened heart." The "hardened heart" was the explanation given for why people like me cannot accept the tenets of Christianity. We are unable to believe there are floating spirits and gods or imaginary places people go when the die. Now, a prominent Christian preacher and author has given us a way to diagnose the "hardened heart." It contained some surprises.  Rev. John Piper, who spoke about the hardened heart, said we can see this in a person who lacks "ordinary tenderness and compassion." He went on to describe the characteristics of a person without the affliction of the hardened heart. A healthy person displays empathy and sympathy. Those with the hardened heart are like stone. Young Women can see Bull$hit a Mile Away

Republicans including their Forced Birth subgroup is bother by recent election results and polling. All show young women going to the left. A poll shows young women are 30% more likely to be very liberal than young men. The link advises the Forced Birth community to give young pregnant women an uplifting message. The message suggested is, "Buck up. You've got this. You can give birth and have a happy life." Another way of saying this is, "It will be OK if you miss work and/or are fired because of the birth. If you cannot make your rent payment, it's OK. Somewhere out there is another place to live. We don't know where but be optimistic."   This is an add on to the new version of the Forced Birth message, "We're for both the baby and the mother." They are not and never have been for the mother.
