Have you Ever Heard of Creflo Dollar

I started following prosperity gospel preacher, Creflo Dollar, several years ago. He was interesting because of his last name was matched with his blatant appeals for money. His message was that God had blessed him because he focused on his personal wealth and if you give him money you will enter the same club and God will make you rich like he is. His business is in Georgia.

Watching him preach on my computer screen was fascinating because he made it seem so logical. I could not fault his message because, even though ridiculous, it was no more ridiculous than the rest of the Christian clergy who say, "Give me money. If you do I will see to it you go to heaven." With Catholics, it adds, "Tell me your sins at confession and I will fix things for you. (And give money, it can't hurt)."

While the prosperity gospel is popular and preached by many, Creflo has a personality that makes him stand out. He made an appeal for a bigger jet and send Jesus would end the world on specific date if money for the jet did not come in. I read on a blog site that the money did not come in, the world did not end but Creflo got the jet he wanted anyway.

Then there was the widely publicized arrest of Creflo Dollar. He had a beautiful wife at the time and some equally beautiful children. But he was angered by a teenaged daughter who was seeing a boy he did not like. When she went out with the boy anyway he lost his temper and began choking her. His wife called the police and he was convicted of some low-level crime. That wife divorced him and I don't know if he and the daughter have a relationship or not.

But, Creflo landed on his feet as he always does. He got another beautiful and younger wife and she is now a big player in his preaching business. His money kept coming in without missing a beat. He claims to go overseas a lot with his large jet--I don't know what he does there.

If you want to get rich, I cannot help you. But Creflo can. He will not help you for free, of course, so be prepared. And in case you were wondering if Creflo is a legitimate Christian, the answer is yes. Anyone and everyone can make that claim.
