Using Adam's Rib to Make Eve Raises Lots of Questions


The Bible says (I'm going by recollection here) God made Adam and then made Eve from one of Adam's ribs. Several contemporary Christian right notions are canceled out by what God did when he made Eve. If only he had made Eve out of mud and breathed life into her these problems would not be here.

First of all, there is the argument against evolution. It says God created everything that exists from the git-go. Wait, Eve was not there when Adam was created. Eve, then, started as something else and had to evolve into what she became. That is evolution. 

Then there is this claim God created two genders and swapping out one and replacing it with another is a mortal sin. It is the main issue Republicans are running for office as we speak. That is the evil called trans.

I've never seen the claim that the rib God removed to make Eve was a female rib. It had to be male because it came from a male. God made it transition to female. How could anti trans be a Republican Party mainstay when God did it himself to Adam's rib?

I know there will be some who read this and will claim taking a rib and making into a person is not evolution. And, they will claim taking a rib from a male and making a female is not a transition from male to female. Yet, it's there in the Bible. And surely, that God did these things cannot be evidence Democrats are closer to God than Republicans.

We cannot know the mind of God so there is no way to understand why God would take away an issue tailor made for Republicans and hand it as a gift to Democrats. Trans is an issue that frightens people and Republican own these.

While we're on the topic of morals and Adam and Eve, there is the question about covering their sinful naked bodies. The Bible should have gone into detail about what parts of their bodies the leave covered and made certain Adam wore a different leaf ensemble than Eve. Because if they wore identical outfits, Adam was dressing in drag and Republicans hate that.

We need some good conservative Bible "scholars" to figure these things out.

The Religious Capitol Invaders May Yet Win

So much about U.S. society and religion can be learned from the Civil War and what happened afterwards. After its defeat, the South started a myth about the unethical soldiers from the North. The South fought for principles of God and states rights. The North did not. Father Frank Pavone, the Ultimate Crook

Recently, the Vatican defrocked Frank Pavone. His diehard fans are outraged. This is because he cleverly manipulated his fans and the press all the while living well from donations and, apparently, abusing some women. By making abortion the "sin" of the century, and himself the main opposition to this one sin, he himself could get away with any sin he pleased.  As the link points out, Pavone was the perfect priest for the Trump era.
