Anti Trans States Like to Visit Trans Porn Sites


Hundreds of anti-trans bills have been written in states that went for Trump and have high Christian numbers. When visits to trans porn sites is tracked, the most visits come from these states. One of the cities that ranks high is Bismarck, ND, where Republican legislators eagerly pass anti trans and anti-gay bills. The closets of anti-trans and gay legislators, and their supporters, are especially dark.

This follows another better-known statistic, spousal abuse. The Bible Belt has the highest numbers of that.

Over 300 anti LGBT bills were introduced last year. We better testament to the high moral standards of anti-gay areas than to plot how many visits to porn sites came from those area.

I can't help but recall the veteran Police Chief who still held the position when I first was a mayor. The bombastic Chief talked loudly about how well the establishment of our city ran things. Businesspeople were the best leaders in his view. He made an enthusiastic announcement his police department had raided the local porn store and hauled off a lot of evidence. Later one of his officers asked the Chief why he spent so much time in his dark office watching the confiscated porn movies. "Evidence," answered the Chief. I may have to testify." 

Evidence may be the excuse Republicans give for their frequent visit to porn sites. "How can we crusade against this evil if we have never watched it?" Once enough porn has been seen to establish "evidence" one would think the traffic would fall. It does not. More "evidence" is always better than less, I suppose they are saying.

The pattern is rather consistent, the further into the Bible Belt he more porn visits. The State of Texas with it holier-than-thou Governor and anti abortion law tops the nation with it distinguished interest to trans porn sites.

Who Suffers from a "Hardened Heart"

Some years ago on this blog there was a discussion about what the Bible calls "The hardened heart." The "hardened heart" was the explanation given for why people like me cannot accept the tenets of Christianity. We are unable to believe there are floating spirits and gods or imaginary places people go when the die. Now, a prominent Christian preacher and author has given us a way to diagnose the "hardened heart." It contained some surprises.  Rev. John Piper, who spoke about the hardened heart, said we can see this in a person who lacks "ordinary tenderness and compassion." He went on to describe the characteristics of a person without the affliction of the hardened heart. A healthy person displays empathy and sympathy. Those with the hardened heart are like stone. Young Women can see Bull$hit a Mile Away

Republicans including their Forced Birth subgroup is bother by recent election results and polling. All show young women going to the left. A poll shows young women are 30% more likely to be very liberal than young men. The link advises the Forced Birth community to give young pregnant women an uplifting message. The message suggested is, "Buck up. You've got this. You can give birth and have a happy life." Another way of saying this is, "It will be OK if you miss work and/or are fired because of the birth. If you cannot make your rent payment, it's OK. Somewhere out there is another place to live. We don't know where but be optimistic."   This is an add on to the new version of the Forced Birth message, "We're for both the baby and the mother." They are not and never have been for the mother.
