I Wonder How Many Abortion Logistics Centers are There

I predicted here that when abortion was outlawed in some states there would be large scale travel to nearby states and countries to abortion sites. I've read money is flowing to areas where women needing abortions are helped. There has not been news coverage of these efforts until now. 

Missouri is a backwards state when it comes to women's rights and will quickly outlaw abortions when possible. It has, of course, a long border with Illinois, one of the best states for abortion rights. 

There are two clinics just across the border in Illinois. These clinics are preparing for large numbers of women coming across the state line to receive abortions. Along with the services provided, a call center serves as a logistics operation for women. It arranges for transportation, housing and childcare for patients. Because donations are arriving many of the costs for women are being covered. Interstate 70 runs east and west across central Missouri which provides easy access to where the clinics are located.  My guess is several of these logistics centers are already operating along the Texas border to help women there. 

The mental part of this is much like World War II. Japan thought people in the U.S. were passive and had no resolve. Japanese thought of themselves as special people, intelligent, diligent, determined and superior to others. Japan needed only to demonstrate its superiority and the U.S. would surrender. The plan was to first occupy areas of the Pacific. Then destroy Peril Habor. Following Peril Harber Japan would destroy a U.S. base on Midway Island. These successes, Japanese leaders thought, would prove to the U.S. it should surrender. The Japanese underestimated the determination and skill of the U.S., lost badly at Midway and, of course, went on to lose the war. 

I read views from anti-abortion operatives who sound just like the WWII Japanese. The view is these early successes of overturning Wade will convince women's rights people to surrender. They will see the fetus as a human being and join to support a nationwide ban of abortion. Even this early in the battle, women are showing a resolve underestimated by anti-abortion bullies. 

I don't know of a single place in the world where women, and their male supporters, have given in to anti-abortion bullies. Where abortions are illegal, either abortions go on illegally or the laws against it are overturned.
