Technology is Being Used Against Christians

Governments around the world are using advanced internet technologies to prosecute Christians. By grabbing key words off internet messages, facial recognition and such anti Christian governments can locate Christian that otherwise would go about their worship freely.

This is not a good path for the government of any country. Best governments everywhere fix the roads, maintain law and order and run things without either corruption or religion.

We all know, however, religion of nearly every stripe wants to get its foot in the door. After the foot, the knew and eventually the whole door. Elements of Christianity are doing this as we speak in the U.S.  This even when complaining about it in other countries. It would be so better if all of Christianity proclaimed, "We are staying out of government. We will not push our religious views into what is taught in public schools, even if children are taught the reality of gay and transgender. We will ignore the reality that women need access to abortion. Let each use her own judgment about these issues."

But, I'm ignoring the way we humans actually are. In authoritarian non Christian countries those in charge mostly cannot leave along those they dislike. They imagine Christians are or will be political opponents. That's the way Communists saw Christianity beginning in the 1920's. It appears that is the way Communists in China see it today as well. Current Russian politicians, however, see political gain in endorsing orthodox Russian Christianity so it's ok there for the time being.

Christians have bragged for years they could save the world through the internet. It has not worked out as planned. Instead of bragging about the internet now it is the enemy. It still works well for those Christians evangelists who want to make money.

I've not read how atheists are faring in heavily Muslim countries. I wonder if they are doing better or worse than Christians. There are plenty of places in the world where being atheist or gay is a death sentence. It is dangerous for some Christians too.

Plenty of atheists, gays and others hide their true selves in this country. I suppose that is where Christianity already is or is headed in several countries. Christianity in the U.S., however, is still pushing its weight around by using government to achieve its ends.
