The On-Going Struggle of Humans and their Attraction to Occults

When a group of humans cannot get their brains to grasp at least some parts of reality, it can lead to mass deaths. It can also lead to powerful political movements which endanger the future of entire civilizations and perhaps humans on the earth.

We have all heard of Hitler, the Nazi Party of Germany and their roles in World War II. There is now renewed study of the long standing popularity of strange myths which drove formation of the Party and of Hitler's rise to power. That history is easier to understand in the context of what we are experiencing in real time.

WWII started in the late 1930's with a thread of thinking about the superiority of the Aryan race. This thinking was enhanced by pseudo scientific propaganda. Books and articles were published about the superiority of those who were white, of certain height, facial characteristics, etc. It was claimed this group was a race, though this was not true. We know, however, this false belief drove an entire nation into a political direction that was a disaster to the world.

Today we have at least two forms of pseudo scientific propaganda that are driving political behaviors in directions that need to be stopped or harmful consequences lie ahead.  One is vaccinations against the Corona virus.

I live in a building with 50 units, people of all ages. A woman we know well asked me to see if I could help her with an appliance problem. She lets others know of her Christian faith and that she is not vaccinated. "We don't know what's in it" she repeats. I wore a mask in her place as did she but she was quite close to me while we looked at her appliance. This pseudo scientific babble is driving millions to not get vaccinated and can only be considered a modern day cult of belief.

Just now the big news story is anti abortion in Texas. This is another case where a religious belief a fertilized cell is a human being is given a pseudo scientific explanation, that the fertilized cell has its own DNA. This has nothing to do with the time when a pregnancy creates a human being. Each egg and sperm is unique, one only has to look at the children of the same couple. Yet, the pseudo scientific explanation has been a driving force in politics making the lives of women more difficult than the lives of the men who impregnated women.

Anti abortion is a repeat of the superior Aryan race and the myth of the vaccine.

  1. Jon; You really do need to do "real science" on the DNA resulting in the first division of the fertilized cell. (not one cell, but two). This also explains the varied appearance of the "look at the children of the same couple" in future or previous fertilizations.

    1. helper: Numeric division - one divided by two is one half. Mitotic division - one divided by two is two. No longer mysterious but still awesome.

  2. helper--Yes, variations in siblings is mostly explained by random combinations of chromosomes, etc. The fact remains, the claim the "moment of fertilization" and unique DNA is the birth of a new human being is not a position that comes from the field of science. It is instead pseudo science propaganda used by those against abortion.
