Spider Man Will be Bisexual



A producer/writer will bring Spider Man up to date by writing a boy friend into the script. This reflects acceptance of sexual diversity that is sweeping the country--at least among urban young people.

A few nights ago I attended a live performance of a kind of entertainment I had not seen before. I don't know what it is called by those who perform it or attend regularly. The name I made up for is was "lesbian burlesque".

The show consisted of several acts where athletes did a kind of tumbling and gymnastics high above the stage using fabric, large rings and poles. The moves a similar to dance and there is loud music. The strength and agility required was amazing.

While I had seen this display of skills before because an adult granddaughter performs I had never seen it as what I would call border line erotic entertainment. Pairs of women did complex performed feats that were both complex and suggestive. The crowd was enthusiastic to say the least.

The conservative Christian notion that God made man and woman is something many young people are unfamiliar with. They see themselves and their as mostly, but not entirely, one gender or the other. It makes sense from a marketing position to write in Spider Man as both genders.

The humans as both genders that many young people see today is, of course, different than what the ancients that wrote the Bible saw. Each of us has the right to see this as we wish because we each have different experiences and have made different observations.

Those writing the Spider Man script do not see gender the same way ancient Biblical authors saw it.

So much about U.S. society and religion can be learned from the Civil War and what happened afterwards. After its defeat, the South started a myth about the unethical soldiers from the North. The South fought for principles of God and states rights. The North did not. It was the South, this propaganda told the country, that had the high moral ground.  The Capitol invaders, encouraged by Trump, swallowed the myth that Biden's election was stolen. Thus, they think they held and still hold the high moral ground. This was reinforced by the cross and prayers during the invasion. Father Frank Pavone, the Ultimate Crook

Recently, the Vatican defrocked Frank Pavone. His diehard fans are outraged. This is because he cleverly manipulated his fans and the press all the while living well from donations and, apparently, abusing some women. By making abortion the "sin" of the century, and himself the main opposition to this one sin, he himself could get away with any sin he pleased.  As the link points out, Pavone was the perfect priest for the Trump era. Trump is so self-important laws have no role in his life. He felt accountable to no one. Women were there to be had. Pavone and Trump are interchangeable.  Pavone was very successful raising money.
